Randy Pausch「最後的演講」美國卡內基美隆大學電腦科學教授蘭迪．鮑許雖僅得年四十七，卻由於善於把握每一分、每一秒，以致幾乎實現了他兒時的一切夢想。

雖然人生短暫，鮑許已經成為很多人心中的親密摯友。ＡＢＣ（美國廣播公司）將他列為2007年三大年度風雲人物之一。2008年五月他還在卡內基美隆大學的畢業典禮發表談話，鮑許說：「我們不能靠活得更久擊敗死神，我們是靠活得豐富、快樂擊敗它」。
