This came to my mind today when I read a beautiful poem, that
friends and butterfly are alike. I like it the other way around.
"As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of
his friend." (Proverbs 27:17)
When I first saw this verse written on a board outside Ethan's school's
baseball field, I was fanscinating at how it told us about friends could
sharpen each other up as iron sharpens iron. I enjoy talking to my
friends because they would let me know when I drifted off the track,
and confirm and help bear witness when I am on the right track. So
lucky as my friends are keeping honest and straightforward to me.
To choose a friend, you have to be careful. That reminded me
another verse my cousin told me years ago.
"The righteous should CHOOSE HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY for the way of the wicked leads them astray." (Proverbs 12:26)
