Dear Teachers and Parents,

This is what I have been talking about for these 15 years... The right way to learn. However, it really needs professional teachers to do the job and we are short of the qualified teachers. This is the reason why. We learn the language through interaction. Watching Films or playing games only will not help. It needs parents and teachers to discuss the content with students. We are actually doing this in our story, reading and writing clubs. Using PBS kids to guide our little ones is one of our methods. We spend a lot of time talking with them and correcting their speaking habit. Reading is important as well. I can see that they enjoy this way of learning very much. They have to share the stories after watching the films or reading the novels. Speaking a language is one thing. Expressing the ideas through talking elegantly is another. I hope that it does not have to be long before our language ability of speaking perfect English here in TaiWan wins the hearts from people around the world.
