| 1:1 |
作使徒的保羅（不是由於人，也不是藉著人，乃是藉著耶穌基督，與叫他從死裏復活的父神）
[NASB] Paul, an apostle (not {sent} from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead), |
| 1:2 |
和一切與我同在的眾弟兄，寫信給加拉太的各教會。
[NASB] and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: |
| 1:3 |
願恩惠、平安從父神與我們的主耶穌基督歸與你們！
[NASB] Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, |
| 1:4 |
基督照我們父神的旨意，為我們的罪捨己，要救我們脫離這罪惡的世代。
[NASB] who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, |
| 1:5 |
但願榮耀歸於神，直到永永遠遠。阿們！
[NASB] to whom {be} the glory forevermore. Amen. |
| 福音只有一個 |
| 1:6 |
我希奇你們這麼快離開那藉著基督之恩召你們的，去從別的福音。
[NASB] I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; |
| 1:7 |
那並不是福音，不過有些人攪擾你們，要把基督的福音更改了。
[NASB] which is {really} not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. |
| 1:8 |
但無論是我們，是天上來的使者，若傳福音給你們，與我們所傳給你們的不同，他就應當被咒詛。
[NASB] But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! |
| 1:9 |
我們已經說了，現在又說，若有人傳福音給你們，與你們所領受的不同，他就應當被咒詛。
[NASB] As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! |
| 1:10 |
我現在是要得人的心呢？還是要得神的心呢？我豈是討人的喜歡麼？若仍舊討人的喜歡，我就不是基督的僕人了。
[NASB] For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. |
| 保羅傳的福音由 神啟示而來 |
| 1:11 |
弟兄們，我告訴你們，我素來所傳的福音不是出於人的意思。
[NASB] For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. |
| 1:12 |
因為我不是從人領受的，也不是人教導我的，乃是從耶穌基督啟示來的。
[NASB] For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but {I received it} through a revelation of Jesus Christ. |
| 1:13 |
你們聽見我從前在猶太教中所行的事，怎樣極力逼迫殘害神的教會。
[NASB] For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it; |
| 1:14 |
我又在猶太教中，比我本國許多同歲的人更有長進，為我袓宗的遺傳更加熱心。
[NASB] and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my ancestral traditions. |
| 1:15 |
然而，那把我從母腹裏分別出來、又施恩召我的神，
[NASB] But when God, who had set me apart {even} from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, was pleased |
| 1:16 |
既然樂意將他兒子啟示在我心裏，叫我把他傳在外邦人中，我就沒有與屬血氣的人商量，
[NASB] to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood, |
| 1:17 |
也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先作使徒的，惟獨往阿拉伯去，後又回到大馬色。
[NASB] nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus. |
| 1:18 |
過了三年，纔上耶路撒冷去見磯法，和他同住了十五天。
[NASB] Then three years later I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days. |
| 1:19 |
至於別的使徒，除了主的兄弟雅各，我都沒有看見。
[NASB] But I did not see any other of the apostles except James, the Lord's brother. |
| 1:20 |
我寫給你們的不是謊話，這是我在神面前說的。
[NASB] (Now in what I am writing to you, I assure you before God that I am not lying.) |
| 1:21 |
以後我到了敘利亞和基利家境內。
[NASB] Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. |
| 1:22 |
那時，猶太信基督的各教會都沒有見過我的面。
[NASB] I was {still} unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ; |
| 1:23 |
不過聽說那從前逼迫我們的，現在傳揚他原先所殘害的真道。
[NASB] but only, they kept hearing, "He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy." |
| 1:24 |
他們就為我的緣故，歸榮耀給神。
[NASB] And they were glorifying God because of me. |

| 5:1 |
所以，你們該效法神，好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣。
[NASB] Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; |
| 5:2 |
也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與神。
[NASB] and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. |
| 5:3 |
至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。
[NASB] But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; |
| 5:4 |
淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。
[NASB] and {there must be no} filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. |
| 5:5 |
因為你們確實的知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和神的國裏都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。
[NASB] For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. |
| 要作光明的子女 |
| 5:6 |
不要被人虛浮的話欺哄；因這些事，神的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
[NASB] Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. |
| 5:7 |
所以，你們不要與他們同夥。
[NASB] Therefore do not be partakers with them; |
| 5:8 |
從前你們是暗昧的，但如今在主裏面是光明的，行事為人就當像光明的子女。
[NASB] for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light |
| 5:9 |
光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
[NASB] (for the fruit of the Light {consists} in all goodness and righteousness and truth), |
| 5:10 |
總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
[NASB] trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. |
| 5:11 |
那暗昧無益的事，不要與人同行，倒要責備行這事的人；
[NASB] Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; |
| 5:12 |
因為他們暗中所行的，就是提起來也是可恥的。
[NASB] for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. |
| 5:13 |
凡事受了責備，就被光顯明出來，因為一切能顯明的就是光。
[NASB] But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. |
| 5:14 |
所以主說：你這睡著的人當醒過來，從死裏復活！基督就要光照你了。
[NASB] For this reason it says, "Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you." |
| 5:15 |
你們要謹慎行事，不要像愚昧人，當像智慧人。
[NASB] Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, |
| 5:16 |
要愛惜光陰，因為現今的世代邪惡。
[NASB] making the most of your time, because the days are evil. |
| 5:17 |
不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。
[NASB] So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. |
| 5:18 |
不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被聖靈充滿。
[NASB] And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, |
| 5:19 |
當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌、彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。
[NASB] speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; |
| 5:20 |
凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父神。
[NASB] always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; |
| 5:21 |
又當存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服。
[NASB] and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. |
| 妻子和丈夫 |
| 5:22 |
你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主。
[NASB] Wives, {be subject} to your own husbands, as to the Lord. |
| 5:23 |
因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。
[NASB] For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself {being} the Savior of the body. |
| 5:24 |
教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
[NASB] But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives {ought to be} to their husbands in everything. |
| 5:25 |
你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。
[NASB] Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, |
| 5:26 |
要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，
[NASB] so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, |
| 5:27 |
可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
[NASB] that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. |
| 5:28 |
丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。
[NASB] So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; |
| 5:29 |
從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總要保養顧惜，正像基督待教會一樣，
[NASB] for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also {does} the church, |
| 5:30 |
因我們是他身上的肢體（有古卷加：就是他的骨他的肉）。
[NASB] because we are members of His body. |
| 5:31 |
為這個緣故，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。
[NASB] FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. |
| 5:32 |
這是極大的奧秘，但我是指著基督和教會說的。
[NASB] This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. |
| 5:33 |
然而，你們各人都當愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重他的丈夫。
[NASB] Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must {see to it} that she respects her husband. |

| 在基督裏身體的合一 |
| 4:1 |
我為主被囚的勸你們：既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱。
[NASB] Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, |
| 4:2 |
凡事謙虛、溫柔、忍耐，用愛心互相寬容，
[NASB] with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, |
| 4:3 |
用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。
[NASB] being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. |
| 4:4 |
身體只有一個，聖靈只有一個，正如你們蒙召同有一個指望。
[NASB] {There is} one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; |
| 4:5 |
一主，一信，一洗，
[NASB] one Lord, one faith, one baptism, |
| 4:6 |
一神，就是眾人的父，超乎眾人之上，貫乎眾人之中，也住在眾人之內。
[NASB] one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. |
| 4:7 |
我們各人蒙恩，都是照基督所量給各人的恩賜。
[NASB] But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift. |
| 4:8 |
所以經上說：他升上高天的時候，擄掠了仇敵，將各樣的恩賜賞給人。
[NASB] Therefore it says, "WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVE A HOST OF CAPTIVES, AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN." |
| 4:9 |
（既說升上，豈不是先降在地下麼？
[NASB] (Now this {expression,} "He ascended," what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? |
| 4:10 |
那降下的，就是遠升諸天之上要充滿萬有的。）
[NASB] He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.) |
| 4:11 |
他所賜的，有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧師和教師，
[NASB] And He gave some {as} apostles, and some {as} prophets, and some {as} evangelists, and some {as} pastors and teachers, |
| 4:12 |
為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體，
[NASB] for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; |
| 4:13 |
直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一，認識神的兒子，得以長大成人，滿有基督長成的身量，
[NASB] until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. |
| 4:14 |
使我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和欺騙的法術，被一切異教之風搖動，飄來飄去，就隨從各樣的異端；
[NASB] As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; |

惟用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督，
[NASB] but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all {aspects} into Him who is the head, {even} Christ, |
| 4:16 |
全身都靠他聯絡得合式，百節各按各職，照著各體的功用彼此相助，便叫身體漸漸增長，在愛中建立自己。
[NASB] from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. |
| 脫去舊人穿上新人 |
| 4:17 |
所以我說，且在主裏確實地說，你們行事不要再像外邦人存虛妄的心行事。
[NASB] So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, |
| 4:18 |
他們心地昏昧，與神所賜的生命隔絕了，都因自己無知，心裏剛硬；
[NASB] being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; |
| 4:19 |
良心既然喪盡，就放縱私慾，貪行種種的污穢。
[NASB] and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. |
| 4:20 |
你們學了基督，卻不是這樣。
[NASB] But you did not learn Christ in this way, |
| 4:21 |
如果你們聽過他的道，領了他的教，學了他的真理，
[NASB] if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, |
| 4:22 |
就要脫去你們從前行為上的舊人，這舊人是因私慾的迷惑漸漸變壞的；
[NASB] that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, |
| 4:23 |
又要將你們的心志改換一新，
[NASB] and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, |
| 4:24 |
並且穿上新人；這新人是照著神的形像造的，有真理的仁義和聖潔。
[NASB] and put on the new self, which in {the likeness of} God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. |
| 新人生活的表現 |
| 4:25 |
所以你們要棄絕謊言，各人與鄰舍說實話，因為我們是互相為肢體。
[NASB] Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE {of you} WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another. |
| 4:26 |
生氣卻不要犯罪；不可含怒到日落，
[NASB] BE ANGRY, AND {yet} DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger, |
| 4:27 |
也不可給魔鬼留地步。
[NASB] and do not give the devil an opportunity. |
| 4:28 |
從前偷竊的，不要再偷；總要勞力，親手做正經事，就可有餘分給那缺少的人。
[NASB] He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have {something} to share with one who has need. |

污穢的言語一句不可出口，只要隨事說造就人的好話，叫聽見的人得益處。
[NASB] Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such {a word} as is good for edification according to the need {of the moment,} so that it will give grace to those who hear. |

不要叫神的聖靈擔憂；你們原是受了他的印記，等候得贖的日子來到。
[NASB] Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. |
| 4:31 |
一切苦毒、惱恨、忿怒、嚷鬧、毀謗，並一切惡毒（或作：陰毒），都當從你們中間除掉；
[NASB] Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. |

| 保羅把福音傳給外邦人 |
| 3:1 |
因此，我保羅為你們外邦人作了基督耶穌被囚的，替你們祈禱（此句是照對十四節所加）。
[NASB] For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles-- |
| 3:2 |
諒必你們曾聽見神賜恩給我，將關切你們的職分託付我，
[NASB] if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you; |
| 3:3 |
用啟示使我知道福音的奧秘，正如我以前略略寫過的。
[NASB] that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. |
| 3:4 |
你們念了，就能曉得我深知基督的奧秘。
[NASB] By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, |
| 3:5 |
這奧秘在以前的世代沒有叫人知道，像如今藉著聖靈啟示他的聖使徒和先知一樣。
[NASB] which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; |
| 3:6 |
這奧秘就是外邦人在基督耶穌裏，藉著福音，得以同為後嗣，同為一體，同蒙應許。
[NASB] {to be specific,} that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, |
| 3:7 |
我作了這福音的執事，是照神的恩賜，這恩賜是照他運行的大能賜給我的。
[NASB] of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. |
| 3:8 |
我本來比眾聖徒中最小的還小，然而他還賜我這恩典，叫我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外邦人，
[NASB] To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, |
| 3:9 |
又使眾人都明白，這歷代以來隱藏在創造萬物之神裏的奧秘是如何安排的，
[NASB] and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; |
| 3:10 |
為要藉著教會使天上執政的、掌權的，現在得知神百般的智慧。
[NASB] so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly {places.} |
| 3:11 |
這是照神從萬世以前，在我們主基督耶穌裏所定的旨意。
[NASB] {This was} in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, |
| 3:12 |
我們因信耶穌，就在他裏面放膽無懼，篤信不疑地來到神面前。
[NASB] in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. |
| 3:13 |
所以，我求你們不要因我為你們所受的患難喪膽這原是你們的榮耀。
[NASB] Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory. |
| 基督的愛是何等長闊高深 |
| 3:14 |
因此，我在父面前屈膝，
[NASB] For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, |
| 3:15 |
（天上地上的各（或譯：全)家，都是從他得名.）
[NASB] from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, |
| 3:16 |
求他按著他豐盛的榮耀，藉著他的靈，叫你們心裏力量剛強起來，
[NASB] that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, |
| 3:17 |
使基督因你們的信，住在你們心裏，叫你們的愛心有根有基，
[NASB] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; {and} that you, being rooted and grounded in love, |
| 3:18 |
能以和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛是何等長闊高深，
[NASB] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, |
| 3:19 |
並知道這愛是過於人所能測度的，便叫神一切所充滿的，充滿了你們。
[NASB] and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. |
| 3:20 |
神能照著運行在我們心裏的大力充充足足地成就一切，超過我們所求所想的。
[NASB] Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, |
| 3:21 |
但願他在教會中，並在基督耶穌裏，得著榮耀，直到世世代代，永永遠遠。阿們！

| 得救是本乎恩也因著信 |
| 2:1 |
你們死在過犯罪惡之中，他叫你們活過來。
[NASB] And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, |
| 2:2 |
那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。
[NASB] in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. |
| 2:3 |
我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。
[NASB] Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. |
| 2:4 |
然而，神既有豐富的憐憫，因他愛我們的大愛，
[NASB] But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, |
| 2:5 |
當我們死在過犯中的時候，便叫我們與基督一同活過來。你們得救是本乎恩。
[NASB] even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), |
| 2:6 |
他又叫我們與基督耶穌一同復活，一同坐在天上，
[NASB] and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly {places} in Christ Jesus, |
| 2:7 |
要將他極豐富的恩典，就是他在基督耶穌裏向我們所施的恩慈，顯明給後來的世代看。
[NASB] so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. |
| 2:8 |
你們得救是本乎恩，也因著信；這並不是出於自己，乃是神所賜的；
[NASB] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, {it is} the gift of God; |
| 2:9 |
也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。
[NASB] not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. |
| 2:10 |
我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裏造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預備叫我們行的。

我保羅告訴你們，若受割禮，基督就與你們無益了。
[NASB] Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you. |
| 5:3 |

[NASB] This is allegorically speaking, for these {women} are two covenants: one {proceeding} from Mount Sinai bearing children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar. |

[NASB] So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? |

[NASB] Even so Abraham BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS. |

[NASB] Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. |

[NASB] The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, {saying,} "ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU." |

[NASB] So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer. |

[NASB] Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH." |

[NASB] However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM." |

[NASB] Brethren, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is {only} a man's covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it. |

[NASB] Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, "And to seeds," as {referring} to many, but {rather} to one, "And to your seed," that is, Christ. |

[NASB] What I am saying is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise. |

[NASB] For if the inheritance is based on law, it is no longer based on a promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by means of a promise. |

[NASB] Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made. |

[NASB] Now a mediator is not for one {party only;} whereas God is {only} one. |

這樣，律法是與神的應許反對麼？斷乎不是！若曾傳一個能叫人得生的律法，義就誠然本乎律法了。
[NASB] Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? May it never be! For if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law. |

但聖經把眾人都圈在罪裏，使所應許的福因信耶穌基督，歸給那信的人。
[NASB] But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. |

但這因信徥救的理還未來以先，我們被看守在律法之下，直圈到那將來的真道顯明出來。
[NASB] But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. |

[NASB] Therefore the Law has become our tutor {to lead us} to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. |

[NASB] It was because of a revelation that I went up; and I submitted to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but {I did so} in private to those who were of reputation, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain. |

[NASB] The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. |

[NASB] But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, "If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how {is it that} you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews? |

我們這生來的猶太人，不是外邦的罪人；
[NASB] "We {are} Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles; |

既知道人稱義不是因行律法，乃是因信耶穌基督，連我們也信了基督耶穌，使我們因信基督稱義，不因行律稱義；因為凡有血氣的，沒有一人因行律法稱義。
[NASB] nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified. |
| 2:17 |
我們若求在基督裏稱義，卻仍舊是罪人，難道基督是叫人犯罪的麼？斷乎不是！
[NASB] "But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? May it never be! |
| 2:18 |
我素來所拆毀的，若重新建造，這就證明自己是犯罪的人。
[NASB] "For if I rebuild what I have {once} destroyed, I prove myself to be a transgressor. |
| 2:19 |
我因律法，就向律法死了，叫我可以向神活著。
[NASB] "For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. |
| 2:20 |
我已經與基督同釘十架，現在活著的不再是我，乃是基督在我裏面活著；並且我如今在肉身活著，是因信神的兒子而活；他是愛我，為我捨己。
[NASB] "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the {life} which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. |

我不廢掉神的恩；義若是藉著律法得的，基督就是徒然死了。
[NASB] "I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness {comes} through the Law, then Christ died needlessly." |
