作使徒的保羅（不是由於人，也不是藉著人，乃是藉著耶穌基督，與叫他從死裏復活的父神）
[NASB] Paul, an apostle (not {sent} from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead), |
| 1:2 |
和一切與我同在的眾弟兄，寫信給加拉太的各教會。
[NASB] and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: |
| 1:3 |
願恩惠、平安從父神與我們的主耶穌基督歸與你們！
[NASB] Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, |
| 1:4 |
基督照我們父神的旨意，為我們的罪捨己，要救我們脫離這罪惡的世代。
[NASB] who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, |
| 1:5 |
但願榮耀歸於神，直到永永遠遠。阿們！
[NASB] to whom {be} the glory forevermore. Amen. |
| 福音只有一個 |
| 1:6 |
我希奇你們這麼快離開那藉著基督之恩召你們的，去從別的福音。
[NASB] I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; |
| 1:7 |
那並不是福音，不過有些人攪擾你們，要把基督的福音更改了。
[NASB] which is {really} not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. |
| 1:8 |
但無論是我們，是天上來的使者，若傳福音給你們，與我們所傳給你們的不同，他就應當被咒詛。
[NASB] But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! |
| 1:9 |
我們已經說了，現在又說，若有人傳福音給你們，與你們所領受的不同，他就應當被咒詛。
[NASB] As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! |
| 1:10 |
我現在是要得人的心呢？還是要得神的心呢？我豈是討人的喜歡麼？若仍舊討人的喜歡，我就不是基督的僕人了。
[NASB] For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. |
| 保羅傳的福音由 神啟示而來 |
| 1:11 |
弟兄們，我告訴你們，我素來所傳的福音不是出於人的意思。
[NASB] For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. |
| 1:12 |
因為我不是從人領受的，也不是人教導我的，乃是從耶穌基督啟示來的。
[NASB] For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but {I received it} through a revelation of Jesus Christ. |
| 1:13 |
你們聽見我從前在猶太教中所行的事，怎樣極力逼迫殘害神的教會。
[NASB] For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it; |
| 1:14 |
我又在猶太教中，比我本國許多同歲的人更有長進，為我袓宗的遺傳更加熱心。
[NASB] and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my ancestral traditions. |
| 1:15 |
然而，那把我從母腹裏分別出來、又施恩召我的神，
[NASB] But when God, who had set me apart {even} from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, was pleased |
| 1:16 |
既然樂意將他兒子啟示在我心裏，叫我把他傳在外邦人中，我就沒有與屬血氣的人商量，
[NASB] to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood, |
| 1:17 |
也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先作使徒的，惟獨往阿拉伯去，後又回到大馬色。
[NASB] nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus. |
| 1:18 |
過了三年，纔上耶路撒冷去見磯法，和他同住了十五天。
[NASB] Then three years later I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days. |
| 1:19 |
至於別的使徒，除了主的兄弟雅各，我都沒有看見。
[NASB] But I did not see any other of the apostles except James, the Lord's brother. |
| 1:20 |
我寫給你們的不是謊話，這是我在神面前說的。
[NASB] (Now in what I am writing to you, I assure you before God that I am not lying.) |
| 1:21 |
以後我到了敘利亞和基利家境內。
[NASB] Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. |
| 1:22 |
那時，猶太信基督的各教會都沒有見過我的面。
[NASB] I was {still} unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ; |
| 1:23 |
不過聽說那從前逼迫我們的，現在傳揚他原先所殘害的真道。
[NASB] but only, they kept hearing, "He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy." |
| 1:24 |
他們就為我的緣故，歸榮耀給神。
[NASB] And they were glorifying God because of me. |

| 2:1 |
我願意你們曉得，我為你們和老底嘉人，並一切沒有與我親自見面的人，是何等的盡心竭力；
[NASB] For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea, and for all those who have not personally seen my face, |
| 2:2 |
要叫他們的心得安慰，因愛心互相聯絡，以致豐豐足足在悟性中有充足的信心，使他們真知神的奧秘，就是基督；
[NASB] that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and {attaining} to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, {resulting} in a true knowledge of God's mystery, {that is,} Christ {Himself,} |
| 2:3 |
所積蓄的一切智慧知識，都在他裏面藏著。
[NASB] in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. |
| 2:4 |
我說這話，免得有人用花言巧語迷惑你們。
[NASB] I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument. |
| 2:5 |
我身子雖與你們相離，心卻與你們同在，見你們循規蹈矩，信基督的心也堅固，我就歡喜了。
[NASB] For even though I am absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and the stability of your faith in Christ. |
| 在基督裏得豐盛 |
| 2:6 |
你們既然接受了主基督耶穌，就當遵他而行，
[NASB] Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, {so} walk in Him, |
| 2:7 |
在他裏面生根建造，信心堅固，正如你們所領的教訓，感謝的心也更增長了。
[NASB] having been firmly rooted {and now} being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, {and} overflowing with gratitude. |
| 2:8 |
你們要謹慎，恐怕有人用他的理學和虛空的妄言，不照著基督，乃照人間的遺傳和世上的小學就把你們擄去。
[NASB] See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. |
| 2:9 |
因為神本性一切的豐盛都有形有體地居住在基督裏面，
[NASB] For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, |
| 2:10 |
你們在他裏面也得了豐盛。他是各樣執政掌權者的元首。
[NASB] and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; |
| 2:11 |
你們在他裏面也受了不是人手所行的割禮，乃是基督使你們脫去肉體情慾的割禮。
[NASB] and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; |
| 2:12 |
你們既受洗與他一同埋葬，也就在此與他一同復活，都因信那叫他從死裏復活神的功用。
[NASB] having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. |
| 2:13 |
你們從前在過犯和未受割禮的肉體中死了，神赦免了你們（或作：我們）一切過犯，便叫你們與基督一同活過來；
[NASB] When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, |
| 2:14 |
又塗抹了在律例上所寫攻擊我們，有礙於我們的字據，把他撤去，釘在十字架上。
[NASB] having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. |
| 2:15 |
既將一切執政的、掌權的擄來，明顯給眾人看，就仗著十字架誇勝。
[NASB] When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. |
| 2:16 |
所以，不拘在飲食上，或節期、或月朔、安息日都不可讓人論斷你們。
[NASB] Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-- |
| 2:17 |
這些原是後事的影兒；那形體卻是基督。
[NASB] things which are a {mere} shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. |
| 2:18 |
不可讓人因著故意謙虛和敬拜天使，就奪去你們的獎賞。這等人拘泥在所見過的（有古卷：這等人窺察所沒有見過的），隨著自己的慾心，無故地自高自大，
[NASB] Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on {visions} he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind, |
| 2:19 |
不持定元首。全身既然靠著他，筋節得以相助聯絡，就因神大得長進。
[NASB] and not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God. |
| 在基督裏作新人 |
| 2:20 |
你們若是與基督同死，脫離了世上的小學，為甚麼仍像在世俗中活著、服從那「不可拿、不可嘗、不可摸」等類的規條呢？
[NASB] If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, |
| 2:22 |
這都是照人所吩咐、所教導的。說到這一切，正用的時候就都敗壞了。
[NASB] "Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!" |
| 2:23 |
這些規條使人徒有智慧之名，用私意崇拜，自表謙卑，苦待己身，其實在克制肉體的情慾上是毫無功效。
[NASB] (which all {refer} {to} things destined to perish with use)--in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men? |

| 1:3 |
我們感謝神、我們主耶穌基督的父，常常為你們禱告；
[NASB] We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, |
| 1:4 |
因聽見你們在基督耶穌裏的信心，並向眾聖徒的愛心，
[NASB] since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints; |
| 1:5 |
是為那給你們存在天上的盼望；這盼望就是你們從前在福音真理的道上所聽見的。
[NASB] because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel |
| 1:6 |
這福音傳到你們那裏，也傳到普天之下，並且結果，增長，如同在你們中間，自從你們聽見福音，真知道神恩惠的日子一樣。
[NASB] which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as {it has been doing} in you also since the day you heard {of it} and understood the grace of God in truth; |

[NASB] just as you learned {it} from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf, |

[NASB] and he also informed us of your love in the Spirit. |
| 為信徒禱告 |
| 1:9 |
因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住地禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道神的旨意；
[NASB] For this reason also, since the day we heard {of it,} we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, |
| 1:10 |
好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，漸漸的多知道神；
[NASB] so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please {Him} in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; |
| 1:11 |
照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜地忍耐寬容；
[NASB] strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously |
| 1:12 |
又感謝父，叫我們能與眾聖徒在光明中同得基業。
[NASB] giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. |
| 1:13 |
他救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢，把我們遷到他愛子的國裏；
[NASB] For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, |
| 1:14 |
我們在愛子裏得蒙救贖，罪過得以赦免。
[NASB] in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. |
| 基督的超越 |
| 1:15 |
愛子是那不能看見之神的像，是首生的，在一切被造的以先。
[NASB] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. |
| 1:16 |
因為萬有都是靠他造的，無論是天上的，地上的；能看見的，不能看見的；或是有位的，主治的，執政的，掌權的；一概都是藉著他造的，又是為他造的。
[NASB] For by Him all things were created, {both} in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him. |
| 1:17 |
他在萬有之先；萬有也靠他而立。
[NASB] He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. |
| 1:18 |
他也是教會全體之首。他是元始，是從死裏首先復生的，使他可以在凡事上居首位。
[NASB] He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. |
| 1:19 |
因為父喜歡叫一切的豐盛在他裏面居住。
[NASB] For it was the {Father's} good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, |
| 1:20 |
既然藉著他在十字加上所流的血成就了和平，便藉著他叫萬有，無論是地上的、天上的都與自己和好了。
[NASB] and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, {I say,} whether things on earth or things in heaven. |
| 1:21 |
你們從前與神隔絕，因著惡行，心裏與他為敵。
[NASB] And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, {engaged} in evil deeds, |
| 1:22 |
但如今他藉著基督的肉身受死，叫你們與自己和好，都成了聖潔，沒有瑕疵，無可責備，把你們引到自己面前。
[NASB] yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach-- |
| 1:23 |
只要你們在所信的道上恆心，根基穩固，堅定不移，不至被引動失去（原文是離開）福音的盼望。這福音就是你們所聽過的，也是傳與普天下萬人聽的（原文是凡受造的），我保羅也作了這福音的執事。
[NASB] if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister. |
| 竭力傳揚 神的奧秘 |
| 1:24 |
現在我為你們受苦，倒覺歡樂；並且為基督的身體，就是為教會，要在我肉身上補滿基督患難的缺欠。
[NASB] Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions. |
| 1:25 |
我照神為你們所賜我的職分作了教會的執事，要把神的道理傳得全備，
[NASB] Of {this church} I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the {preaching of} the word of God, |
| 1:26 |
這道理就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧秘；但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。
[NASB] {that is,} the mystery which has been hidden from the {past} ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, |
| 1:27 |
神願意叫他們知道，這奧秘在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀，就是基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望。
[NASB] to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. |

我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裏完完全全的引到神面前。

| 1:24 |
現在我為你們受苦，倒覺歡樂；並且為基督的身體，就是為教會，要在我肉身上補滿基督患難的缺欠。

[NASB] But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. |

弟兄們，我還有話說，你們要靠主喜樂。我把這話再寫給你們，於我並不為難，於你們卻是妥當。
[NASB] Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things {again} is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you. |
| 3:2 |
應當防備犬類，防備作惡的，防備妄自行割的。
[NASB] Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; |
| 3:3 |
因為真受割禮的，乃是我們這以神的靈敬拜、在基督耶穌裏誇口、不靠著肉體的。
[NASB] for we are the {true} circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, |

所以，在基督裏若有甚麼勸勉，愛心有甚麼安慰，聖靈有甚麼交通，心中有甚麼慈悲憐憫，
[NASB] Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, |

你們就要意念相同，愛心相同，有一樣的心思，有一樣的意念，使我的喜樂可以滿足。
[NASB] make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. |
| 2:3 |
凡事不可結黨，不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀；只要存心謙卑，各人看別人比自己強。
[NASB] Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; |
| 2:4 |
各人不要單顧自己的事，也要顧別人的事。
[NASB] do not {merely} look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. |

有的傳基督是出於嫉妒紛爭，也有的是出於好意。
[NASB] Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will; |

這一等是出於愛心，知道我是為辯明福音設立的；
[NASB] the latter {do it} out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; |

那一等傳基督是出於結黨，並不誠實，意思要加增我捆鎖的苦楚。
[NASB] the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment. |

[NASB] For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, |

叫一切在天上的、地上的，和地底下的，因耶穌的名無不屈膝，
[NASB] so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, |

[NASB] So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; |

[NASB] For I have no one {else} of kindred spirit who will genuinely be concerned for your welfare. |

[NASB] and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear. |

有的傳基督是出於嫉妒紛爭，也有的是出於好意。
[NASB] Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will; |
| 1:16 |
這一等是出於愛心，知道我是為辯明福音設立的；
[NASB] the latter {do it} out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; |
| 1:17 |
那一等傳基督是出於結黨，並不誠實，意思要加增我捆鎖的苦楚。
[NASB] the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment. |
| 1:18 |
這又何妨呢？或是假意，或是真心，無論怎樣，基督究竟被傳開了。為此，我就歡喜，並且還要歡喜；
[NASB] What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice, |

[NASB] for I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, |

[NASB] For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. |

但我在肉身活著，若成就我工夫的果子，我就不知道該挑選甚麼。
[NASB] But if {I am} to live {on} in the flesh, this {will mean} fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. |

我正在兩難之間，情願離世與基督同在，因為這是好得無比的。

[NASB] yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. |

[NASB] Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; |

[NASB] in no way alarmed by {your} opponents--which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that {too,} from God. |

[NASB] But that you also may know about my circumstances, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you. |
