The Strasburgs are at a parent-teacher conference.
M: Mother F: Father T: Teacher
T: Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to meet with me.
M: Billy's education is of the highest priority for both of us.
T: That's good to hear. You'll be glad to know that Billy is a very bright boy. His test scores are quite good, and he always completes his homework on time.
F: We always have him show us his homework before he goes to bed.
T: However, he's having a bit of trouble in English class.
M: Is there anything we can do to help him?
T: I'm of the opinion that he lacks self-confidence, so you might want to try having him read out loud to you. Also, getting him a tutor wouldn't hurt, either.
F: Thanks. We'll take your advice into consideration.
