囑咐門徒等候聖靈
1:1 提阿非羅啊,我已經作了前書,論到耶穌開頭一切所行所教訓的,
[NASB] The first account I composed, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach,
1:2 直到他藉著聖靈吩咐所揀選的使徒,以後被接上升的日子為止。
[NASB] until the day when He was taken up {to heaven,} after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen.
1:3 他受害之後,用許多的憑據將自己活活地顯給使徒看,四十天之久向他們顯現,講說神國的事。
[NASB] To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over {a period of} forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.
1:4 耶穌和他們聚集的時候,囑咐他們說:「不要離開耶路撒冷,要等候父所應許的,就是你們聽見我說過的。
[NASB] Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," {He said,} "you heard of from Me;
1:5 約翰是用水施洗,但不多幾日,你們要受聖靈的洗。」
[NASB] for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."
耶穌升天
1:6 他們聚集的時候,問耶穌說:「主啊,你復興以色列國就在這時候麼?」
[NASB] So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"
1:7 耶穌對他們說:「父憑著自己的權柄所定時候、日期,不是你們可以知道的。
[NASB] He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;
1:8 但聖靈降臨在你們身上,你們就必得著能力,並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地,和撒瑪利亞,直到地極,作我的見證。」
[NASB] but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."
1:9 說了這話,他們正看的時候,他就被取上升,有一雲彩把他接去,便看不見他了。
[NASB] And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
1:10 當他往上去,他們定睛望天的時候,忽然有兩個人身穿白衣,站在旁邊,說:
[NASB] And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.
1:11 「加利利人哪,你們為甚麼站著望天呢?這離開你們被接升天的耶穌,你們見他怎樣往天上去,他還要怎樣來。」
[NASB] They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."
門徒在樓房內禱告
1:12 有一座山,名叫橄欖山,離耶路撒冷不遠,約有安息日可走的路程。當下,門徒從那裏回耶路撒冷去,
[NASB] Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.
1:13 進了城,就上了所住的一間樓房;在那裏有彼得、約翰、雅各、安得烈、腓力、多馬、巴多羅買、馬太、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、奮銳黨的西門,和雅各的兒子(或作:兄弟)猶大。
[NASB] When they had entered {the city,} they went up to the upper room where they were staying; that is, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James {the son} of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas {the} {son} of James.
1:14 這些人同著幾個婦人和耶穌的母親馬利亞,並耶穌的弟兄,都同心合意地恆切禱告。
[NASB] These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with {the} women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
選出馬提亞代替猶大作使徒
1:15 那時,有許多人聚會,約有一百二十名,彼得就在弟兄中間站起來,說:
[NASB] At this time Peter stood up in the midst of the brethren (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty persons was there together), and said,
1:16 「弟兄們!聖靈藉大衛的口,在聖經上預言領人捉拿耶穌的猶大,這話是必須應驗的。
[NASB] "Brethren, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.
1:17 他本來列在我們數中,並且在使徒的職任上得了一分。
[NASB] "For he was counted among us and received his share in this ministry."
1:18 這人用他作惡的工價買了一塊田,以後身子仆倒,肚腹崩裂,腸子都流出來。
[NASB] (Now this man acquired a field with the price of his wickedness, and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out.
1:19 住在耶路撒冷的眾人都知道這事,所以按著他們那裏的話給那塊田起名叫亞革大馬,就是「血田」的意思。
[NASB] And it became known to all who were living in Jerusalem; so that in their own language that field was called Hakeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)
1:20 因為詩篇上寫著,說:願他的住處變為荒場,無人在內居住;又說:願別人得他的職分。
[NASB] "For it is written in the book of Psalms, 'LET HIS HOMESTEAD BE MADE DESOLATE, AND LET NO ONE DWELL IN IT'; and, 'LET ANOTHER MAN TAKE HIS OFFICE.'
1:21 所以,主耶穌在我們中間始終出入的時候,
[NASB] "Therefore it is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us--
1:22 就是從約翰施洗起,直到主離開我們被接上升的日子為止,必須從那常與我們作伴的人中立一位與我們同作耶穌復活的見證。」
[NASB] beginning with the baptism of John until the day that He was taken up from us--one of these {must} become a witness with us of His resurrection."
1:23 於是選舉兩個人,就是那叫做巴撒巴,又稱呼猶士都的約瑟,和馬提亞。
[NASB] So they put forward two men, Joseph called Barsabbas (who was also called Justus), and Matthias.
1:24 眾人就禱告說:「主阿,你知道萬人的心,求你從這兩個人中,指明你所揀選的是誰,叫他得這使徒的位分。這位分猶大已經丟棄,往自己的地方去了。」
[NASB] And they prayed and said, "You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two You have chosen
1:26 於是眾人為他們搖籤,搖出馬提亞來;他就和十一個使徒同列。
[NASB] to occupy this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place."

勸勉信徒省察自己
13:1 這是我第三次要到你們那裏去。「憑兩三個人的口作見證,句句都要定準。」
[NASB] This is the third time I am coming to you. EVERY FACT IS TO BE CONFIRMED BY THE TESTIMONY OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES.
13:2 我從前說過,如今不在你們那裏又說,正如我第二次見你們的時候所說的一樣,就是對那犯了罪的和其餘的人說:「我若再來,必不寬容。」
[NASB] I have previously said when present the second time, and though now absent I say in advance to those who have sinned in the past and to all the rest {as well,} that if I come again I will not spare {anyone,}
13:3 你們既然尋求基督在我裏面說話的憑據,我必不寬容。因為,基督在你們身上不是軟弱的,在你們裏面是有大能的。
[NASB] since you are seeking for proof of the Christ who speaks in me, and who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.
13:4 他因軟弱被釘在十字架上,卻因神的大能仍然活著。我們也是這樣同他軟弱,但因神向你們所顯的大能,也必與他同活。
[NASB] For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God {directed} toward you.
13:5 你們總要自己省察有信心沒有,也要自己試驗。豈不知你們若不是可棄絕的,就有耶穌基督在你們心裏麼?
[NASB] Test yourselves {to see} if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test?
13:6 我卻盼望你們曉得,我們不是可棄絕的人。
[NASB] But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test.
13:7 我們求神,叫你們一件惡事都不做;這不是要顯明我們是蒙悅納的,是要你們行事端正,任憑人看我們是被棄絕的吧!
[NASB] Now we pray to God that you do no wrong; not that we ourselves may appear approved, but that you may do what is right, even though we may appear unapproved.
13:8 我們凡事不能敵擋真理,只能扶助真理。
[NASB] For we can do nothing against the truth, but {only} for the truth.
13:9 即使我們軟弱,你們剛強,我們也歡喜;並且我們所求的,就是你們作完全人。
[NASB] For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak but you are strong; this we also pray for, that you be made complete.
13:10 所以,我不在你們那裏的時候,把這話寫給你們,好叫我見你們的時候,不用照主所給我的權柄嚴厲地待你們;這權柄原是為造就人,並不是為敗壞人。
[NASB] For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present I {need} not use severity, in accordance with the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
勸勉和祝福
13:11 還有末了的話:願弟兄們都喜樂。要作完全人;要受安慰;要同心合意;要彼此和睦。如此,仁愛和平的神必常與你們同在。
[NASB] Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
13:12 你們親嘴問安,彼此務要聖潔。
[NASB] Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13:13 眾聖徒都問你們安。
[NASB] All the saints greet you.
13:14 願主耶穌基督的恩惠、神的慈愛、聖靈的感動,常與你們眾人同在!
[NASB] The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

保羅所得的異象和啟示
12:1 我自誇固然無益,但我是不得已的。如今我要說到主的顯現和啟示。
[NASB] Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.
12:2 我認得一個在基督裏的人,他前十四年被提到第三層天上去;(或在身內,我不知道;或在身外,我也不知道;只有神知道。)
[NASB] I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a man was caught up to the third heaven.
12:3 我認得這人;(或在身內,或在身外,我都不知道,只有神知道。)
[NASB] And I know how such a man--whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows--
12:4 他被提到樂園裏,聽見隱秘的言語,是人不可說的。
[NASB] was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.
12:5 為這人,我要誇口;但是為我自己,除了我的軟弱以外,我並不誇口。
[NASB] On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to {my} weaknesses.
12:6 我就是願意誇口也不算狂,因為我必說實話;只是我禁止不說,恐怕有人把我看高了,過於他在我身上所看見所聽見的。
[NASB] For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain {from} {this,} so that no one will credit me with more than he sees {in} me or hears from me.
12:7 又恐怕我因所得的啟示甚大,就過於自高,所以有一根剌加我肉體上,就是撒但的差役要攻擊我,免得我過於自高。
[NASB] Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me--to keep me from exalting myself!
12:8 為這事,我三次求過主,叫這剌離開我。
[NASB] Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me.
12:9 他對我說:「我的恩典彀你用的,因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以,我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱,好叫基督的能力覆庇我。
[NASB] And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
12:10 我為基督的緣故,就以軟弱、凌辱、急難、逼迫、困苦為可喜樂的;因我甚麼時候軟弱,甚麼時候就剛強了。
[NASB] Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
保羅哥林多教會的關心
12:11 我成了愚妄人,是被你們強逼的。我本該被你們稱許纔是。我雖算不了甚麼,卻沒有一件事在那些最大的使徒以下。
[NASB] I have become foolish; you yourselves compelled me. Actually I should have been commended by you, for in no respect was I inferior to the most eminent apostles, even though I am a nobody.
12:12 我在你們中間,用百般的忍耐,藉著神蹟、奇事、異能,顯出使徒的憑據來。
[NASB] The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by signs and wonders and miracles.
12:13 除了我不累著你們這一件事,你們還有甚麼事不及別的教會呢?這不公之處,求你們饒恕我吧。
[NASB] For in what respect were you treated as inferior to the rest of the churches, except that I myself did not become a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong!
12:14 如今,我打算第三次到你們那裏去,也必不累著你門;因我所求的是你們,不是你們的財物。兒女不該為父母積財,父母該為兒女積財。
[NASB] Here for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I do not seek what is yours, but you; for children are not responsible to save up for {their} parents, but parents for {their} children.
12:15 我也甘心樂意為你們的靈魂費財費力。難道我越發愛你們,就越發少得你們的愛麼?
[NASB] I will most gladly spend and be expended for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?
12:16 罷了,我自己並沒有累著你們,你們卻有人說,我是詭詐,用心計牢籠你們。
[NASB] But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, crafty fellow that I am, I took you in by deceit.
12:17 我所差到你們那裏去的人,我藉著他們一個人佔過你們的便宜麼?
[NASB] {Certainly} I have not taken advantage of you through any of those whom I have sent to you, have I?
12:18 我勸了提多到你們那裏去;又差那位兄弟與他同去。提多佔過你們的便宜麼?我們行事,不同是一個心靈(或作:聖靈)麼?不同是一個腳蹤麼?
[NASB] I urged Titus {to go,} and I sent the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselves in the same spirit {and walk} in the same steps?
12:19 你們到如今,還想我們是向你們分訴;我們本是在基督裏當神面前說話。親愛的弟兄啊,一切的事都是為造就你們。
[NASB] All this time you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you. {Actually,} it is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ; and all for your upbuilding, beloved.
12:20 我怕我再來的時候,見你們不合我所想望的,你們見我也不合你們所想望的;又怕有紛爭、嫉妒、惱怒、結黨、毀謗、讒言、狂傲、混亂的事。
[NASB] For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps {there will be} strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances;
12:21 且怕我來的時候,我的神叫我在你們面前慚愧,又因許多人從前犯罪,行污穢、姦淫、邪蕩的事不肯悔改,我就憂愁。
[NASB] I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity, immorality and sensuality which they have practiced.

11:1 但願你們寬容我這一點愚妄,其實你們原是寬容我的。
[NASB] I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me.
11:2 我為你們起的憤恨,原是神那樣的憤恨。因為我曾把你們許配一個丈夫,要把你們如同貞潔的童女,獻給基督。
[NASB] For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you {as} a pure virgin.
11:3 我只怕你們的心或偏於邪,失去那向基督所存純一清潔的心,就像蛇用詭詐誘惑了夏娃一樣。
[NASB] But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity {of devotion} to Christ.
11:4 假如有人來另傳一個耶穌,不是我們所傳過的;或者你們另受一個靈,不是你們所受過的;或者另傳一個福音,不是你們所得過的;你們容讓他也就罷了。
[NASB] For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear {this} beautifully.
11:5 但我想,我一點不在那些最大的使徒以下。
[NASB] For I consider myself not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles.
11:6 我的言語雖然粗俗,我的知識卻不粗俗。這是我們在凡事上向你們眾人顯明出來的。
[NASB] But even if I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not {so} in knowledge; in fact, in every way we have made {this} evident to you in all things.
11:7 我因為白白傳神的福音給你們,就自居卑微,叫你們高升,這算是我犯罪麼?
[NASB] Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you without charge?
11:8 我虧負了別的教會,向他們取了工價來給你們效力。
[NASB] I robbed other churches by taking wages {from} {them} to serve you;
11:9 我在你們那裏缺乏的時候,並沒有累著你們一個人;因我所缺乏的,那從馬其頓來的弟兄們都補足了。我向來凡事謹守,後來也必謹守,總不至於累著你們。
[NASB] and when I was present with you and was in need, I was not a burden to anyone; for when the brethren came from Macedonia they fully supplied my need, and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will continue to do so.
11:10 既有基督的誠實在我裏面,就無人能在亞該亞一帶地方阻擋我這自誇。
[NASB] As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be stopped in the regions of Achaia.
11:11 為甚麼呢?是因我不愛你們麼?這有神知道。
[NASB] Why? Because I do not love you? God knows {I do!}
11:12 我現在所做的,後來還要做,為要斷絕那些尋機會人的機會,使他們在所誇的事上也不過與我們一樣。
[NASB] But what I am doing I will continue to do, so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting.
11:13 那等人是假使徒,行事詭詐,裝作基督使徒的模樣。
[NASB] For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
11:14 這也不足為怪,因為連撒但也裝作光明的天使。
[NASB] No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
11:15 所以他的差役,若裝作仁義的差役,也不算希奇。他們的結局必然照著他們的行為。
[NASB] Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.
保羅為所受的苦誇口
11:16 我再說,人不可把我看作愚妄的。縱然如此,也要把我當作愚妄人接納,叫我可以略略自誇。
[NASB] Again I say, let no one think me foolish; but if {you do,} receive me even as foolish, so that I also may boast a little.
11:17 我說的話不是奉主命說的,乃像愚妄人放膽自誇;
[NASB] What I am saying, I am not saying as the Lord would, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.
11:18 既有好些人憑著血氣自誇,我也要自誇了。
[NASB] Since many boast according to the flesh, I will boast also.
11:19 你們既是精明人,就能甘心忍耐愚妄人。
[NASB] For you, being {so} wise, tolerate the foolish gladly.
11:20 假若有人強你們作奴僕,或侵吞你們,或擄掠你們,或悔慢你們,或打你們的臉,你們都能忍耐他。
[NASB] For you tolerate it if anyone enslaves you, anyone devours you, anyone takes advantage of you, anyone exalts himself, anyone hits you in the face.
11:21 我說這話是羞辱自己,好像我們從前軟弱的。然而,人在何事上勇敢,(我說句愚妄話,)我也勇敢。
[NASB] To {my} shame I {must} say that we have been weak {by comparison.} But in whatever respect anyone {else} is bold--I speak in foolishness--I am just as bold myself.
11:22 他們是希伯來人麼?我也是。他們是以色列人麼?我也是。他們是亞伯拉罕的後裔麼?我也是。
[NASB] Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I.
11:23 他們是基督的僕人麼?(我說句狂話,)我更是。我比他們多受勞苦,多下監牢,受鞭打是過重的,冒死是屢次有的。
[NASB] Are they servants of Christ?--I speak as if insane--I more so; in far more labors, in far more imprisonments, beaten times without number, often in danger of death.
11:24 被猶太人鞭打五次,每次四十減去一下;
[NASB] Five times I received from the Jews thirty-nine {lashes.}
11:25 被棍打了三次;被石頭打了一次,遇著船壞三次,一晝一夜在深海裏。
[NASB] Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep.
11:26 又屢次行遠路,遭江河的危險、盜賊的危險,同族的危險、外邦人的危險、城裏的危險、曠野的危險、海中的危險、假弟兄的危險。
[NASB] {I have been} on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from {my} countrymen, dangers from the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among false brethren;
11:27 受勞碌、受困苦,多次不得睡,又飢又渴,多次不得食,受寒冷,赤身露體。
[NASB] {I have been} in labor and hardship, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure.
11:28 除了這外面的事,還有為眾教會掛心的事,天天壓在我身上。
[NASB] Apart from {such} external things, there is the daily pressure on me {of} concern for all the churches.
11:29 有誰軟弱,我不軟弱呢?有誰跌倒,我不焦急呢?
[NASB] Who is weak without my being weak? Who is led into sin without my intense concern?
11:30 我若必須自誇,就誇那關乎我軟弱的事便了。
[NASB] If I have to boast, I will boast of what pertains to my weakness.
11:31 那永遠可稱頌之主耶穌的父神知道我不說謊。
[NASB] The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, He who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
11:32 在大馬士革的亞哩達王手下的提督把守大馬士革城,要捉拿我,
[NASB] In Damascus the ethnarch under Aretas the king was guarding the city of the Damascenes in order to seize me,
11:33 我就從窗戶中,在筐子裏,從城牆上被人縋下去,脫離了他的手。
[NASB] and I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and {so} escaped his hands.

10:1 我保羅,就是與你們見面的時候是謙卑的,不在你們那裏的時候向你們是勇敢的,如今親自藉著基督的溫柔、和平勸你們。
[NASB] Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ--I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!
10:2 有人以為我是憑著血氣行事,我也以為必須用勇敢待這等人;求你們不要叫我在你們那裏的時候,有這樣的勇敢。
[NASB] I ask that when I am present I {need} not be bold with the confidence with which I propose to be courageous against some, who regard us as if we walked according to the flesh.
10:3 因為我們雖然在血氣中行事,卻不憑著血氣爭戰。
[NASB] For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
10:4 我們爭戰的兵器本不是屬血氣的,乃是在神面前有能力,可以攻破堅固的營壘,
[NASB] for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
10:5 將各樣的計謀,各樣攔阻人認識神的那些自高之事,一概攻破了,又將人所有的心意奪回,使他都順服基督。
[NASB] {We are} destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and {we are} taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
10:6 並且我已經預備好了,等你們十分順服的時候,要責罰那一切不順服的人。
[NASB] and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.
10:7 你們是看眼前的麼?倘若有人自信是屬基督的,他要再想想,他如何屬基督,我們也是如何屬基督的。
[NASB] You are looking at things as they are outwardly. If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ's, so also are we.
10:8 主賜給我們權柄,是要造就你們,並不是要敗壞你們;我就是為這權柄稍微誇口,也不至於慚愧。
[NASB] For even if I boast somewhat further about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame,
10:9 我說這話,免得你們以為我寫信是要威嚇你們;
[NASB] for I do not wish to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters.
10:10 因為有人說:「他的信又沉重又厲害,及至見面,卻是氣貌不揚,言語粗俗的。」
[NASB] For they say, "His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible."
10:11 這等人當想,我們不在那裏的時候,信上的言語如何,見面的時候,行事也必如何。
[NASB] Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when absent, such persons {we are} also in deed when present.
10:12 因為我們不敢將自己和那自薦的人同列相比。他們用自己度量自己,用自己比較自己,乃是不通達的。
[NASB] For we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.
10:13 我們不願意分外誇口,只要照神所量給我們的界限搆到你們那裏。
[NASB] But we will not boast beyond {our} measure, but within the measure of the sphere which God apportioned to us as a measure, to reach even as far as you.
10:14 我們並非過了自己的界限,好像搆不到你們那裏;因為我們早就到你們那裏,傳了基督的福音。
[NASB] For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we did not reach to you, for we were the first to come even as far as you in the gospel of Christ;
誇口的當指著主誇口
10:15 我們不仗著別人所勞碌的,分外誇口;但指望你們信心增長的時候,所量給我們的界限,就可以因著你們更加開展,
[NASB] not boasting beyond {our} measure, {that} {is,} in other men's labors, but with the hope that as your faith grows, we will be, within our sphere, enlarged even more by you,
10:16 得以將福音傳到你們以外的地方;並不是在別人界限之內,藉著他現成的事誇口。
[NASB] so as to preach the gospel even to the regions beyond you, {and} not to boast in what has been accomplished in the sphere of another.
10:17 但誇口的,當指著主誇口。
[NASB] But HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD.
10:18 因為蒙悅納的,不是自己稱許的,乃是主所稱許的。
[NASB] For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.

捐得樂意的人為 神所喜愛
9:1 論到供給聖徒的事,我不必寫信給你們;
[NASB] For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;
9:2 因為我知道你們樂意的心,常對馬其頓人誇獎你們,說亞該亞人預備好了,已經有一年了;並且你們的熱心激動了許多人。
[NASB] for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the Macedonians, {namely,} that Achaia has been prepared since last year, and your zeal has stirred up most of them.
9:3 但我打發那幾位弟兄去,要叫你們照我的話預備妥當;免得我們在這事上誇獎你們的話落了空。
[NASB] But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made empty in this case, so that, as I was saying, you may be prepared;
9:4 萬一有馬其頓人與我們同去,見你們沒有預備,就叫我們所確信的,反成了羞愧;你們羞愧,更不用說了。
[NASB] otherwise if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we--not to speak of you--will be put to shame by this confidence.
9:5 因此,我想不得不求那幾位弟兄先到你們那裏去,把從前所應許的捐貲預備妥當,就顯出你們所捐的是出於樂意,不是出於勉強。
[NASB] So I thought it necessary to urge the brethren that they would go on ahead to you and arrange beforehand your previously promised bountiful gift, so that the same would be ready as a bountiful gift and not affected by covetousness.
9:6 「少種的少收,多種的多收」,這話是真的。
[NASB] Now this {I say,} he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
9:7 各人要隨本心所酌定的,不要作難,不要勉強,因為捐得樂意的人是神所喜愛的。
[NASB] Each one {must do} just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
9:8 神能將各樣的恩惠多多地加給你們,使你們凡事常常充足,能多行各樣善事。
[NASB] And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
9:9 如經上所記:他施捨錢財,賙濟貧窮;他的仁義存到永遠。
[NASB] as it is written, "HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER."
9:10 那賜種給撒種的,賜糧給人喫的,必多多加給你們種地的種子,又增添你們仁義的果子;
[NASB] Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;
9:11 叫你們凡事富足,可以多多施捨,就藉著我們使感謝歸於神。
[NASB] you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.
9:12 因為辦這供給的事,不但補聖徒的缺乏,而且叫許多人越發感謝神。
[NASB] For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.
9:13 他們從這供給的事上得了憑據,知道你們承認基督順服他的福音,多多地捐錢給他們和眾人,便將榮耀歸與神。
[NASB] Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for {your} obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,
9:14 他們也因神極大的恩賜顯在你們心裏,就切切地想念你們,為你們祈禱。
[NASB] while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.
9:15 感謝神,因他有說不盡的恩賜!
[NASB] Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

8:1 弟兄們,我把神賜給馬其頓眾教會的恩告訴你們,
[NASB] Now, brethren, we {wish to} make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia,
8:2 就是他們在患難中受大試煉的時候,仍有滿足的快樂,在極窮之間還格外顯出他們樂捐的厚恩。
[NASB] that in a great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the wealth of their liberality.
8:3 我可以證明,他們是按著力量,而且也過了力量,自己甘心樂意地捐助,
[NASB] For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, {they gave} of their own accord,
8:4 再三地求我們,准他們在這供給聖徒的恩情上有分;
[NASB] begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,
8:5 並且他們所做的,不但照我們所想望的,更照神的旨意先把自己獻給主,又歸附了我們。
[NASB] and {this,} not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.
8:6 因此我勸提多,既然在你們中間開辦這慈惠的事,就當辦成了。
[NASB] So we urged Titus that as he had previously made a beginning, so he would also complete in you this gracious work as well.
8:7 你們既然在信心、口纔、知識、熱心,和待我們的愛心上,都格外顯出滿足來,就當在這慈惠的事上也格外顯出滿足來。
[NASB] But just as you abound in everything, in faith and utterance and knowledge and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, {see} that you abound in this gracious work also.
8:8 我說這話,不是吩咐你們,乃是藉著別人的熱心試驗你們愛心的實在。
[NASB] I am not speaking {this} as a command, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity of your love also.
8:9 你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典:他本來富足,卻為你們成了貧窮,叫你們因他的貧窮,可以成為富足。
[NASB] For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
8:10 我在這事上把我的意見告訴你們,是與你們有益;因為你們下手辦這事,而且起此心意,已經有一年了,
[NASB] I give {my} opinion in this matter, for this is to your advantage, who were the first to begin a year ago not only to do {this,} but also to desire {to do it.}
8:11 如今就當辦成這事。既有願做的心,也當照你們所有的去辦成。
[NASB] But now finish doing it also, so that just as {there was} the readiness to desire it, so {there} {may be} also the completion of it by your ability.
8:12 因為人若有願做的心,必蒙悅納,乃是照他所有的,並不是照他所無的。
[NASB] For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable according to what {a person} has, not according to what he does not have.
8:13 我原不是要別人輕省,你們受累,
[NASB] For {this} is not for the ease of others {and} for your affliction, but by way of equality--
8:14 乃要均平,就是要你們的富餘,現在可以補他們的不足,使他們的富餘,將來也可以補你們的不足,這就均平了。
[NASB] at this present time your abundance {being a} {supply} for their need, so that their abundance also may become {a supply} for your need, that there may be equality;
8:15 如經上所記:多收的也沒有餘;少收的也沒有缺。
[NASB] as it is written, "HE WHO {gathered} MUCH DID NOT HAVE TOO MUCH, AND HE WHO {gathered} LITTLE HAD NO LACK."
稱讚提多和他的同工
8:16 多謝神,感動提多的心,叫他待你們殷勤,像我一樣。
[NASB] But thanks be to God who puts the same earnestness on your behalf in the heart of Titus.
8:17 他固然是聽了我的勸,但自己更是熱心,情願往你們那裏去。
[NASB] For he not only accepted our appeal, but being himself very earnest, he has gone to you of his own accord.
8:18 我們還打發一位弟兄和他同去,這人在福音上得了眾教會的稱讚。
[NASB] We have sent along with him the brother whose fame in {the things of} the gospel {has spread} through all the churches;
8:19 不但這樣,他也被眾教會挑選,和我們同行,把所託與我們的這捐貲送到了,可以榮耀主,又表明我們樂意的心。
[NASB] and not only {this,} but he has also been appointed by the churches to travel with us in this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself, and {to show} our readiness,
8:20 這就免得有人因我們收的捐銀很多,就挑我們的不是。
[NASB] taking precaution so that no one will discredit us in our administration of this generous gift;
8:21 我們留心行光明的事,不但在主面前,就在人面前也是這樣。
[NASB] for we have regard for what is honorable, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
8:22 我們又打發一位兄弟同去;這人的熱心,我們在許多事上屢次試驗過。現在他因為深信你們,就更加熱心了。
[NASB] We have sent with them our brother, whom we have often tested and found diligent in many things, but now even more diligent because of {his} great confidence in you.
8:23 論到提多,他是我的同伴,一同為你們勞碌的。論到那兩位弟兄,他們是眾教會的使者,是基督的榮耀。
[NASB] As for Titus, {he is} my partner and fellow worker among you; as for our brethren, {they are} messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ.
8:24 所以,你們務要在眾教會面前顯明你們愛心的憑據,並我所誇獎你們的憑據。
[NASB] Therefore openly before the churches, show them the proof of your love and of our reason for boasting about you.

7:1 親愛的弟兄啊,我們既有這等應許,就當潔淨自己,除去身體、靈魂一切的污穢,敬畏神,得以成聖。
[NASB] Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
保羅哥林多人悔改而得喜樂
7:2 你們要心地寬大收納我們。我們未曾虧負誰,未曾敗壞誰,未曾佔誰的便宜。
[NASB] Make room for us {in your hearts;} we wronged no one, we corrupted no one, we took advantage of no one.
7:3 我說這話,不是要定你們的罪。我已經說過,你們常在我們心裏,情願與你們同生同死。
[NASB] I do not speak to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die together and to live together.
7:4 我大大地放膽,向你們說話;我因你們多多誇口,滿得安慰;我們在一切患難中分外的快樂。
[NASB] Great is my confidence in you; great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction.
7:5 我們從前就是到了馬其頓的時候,身體也不得安寧,周圍遭患難,外有爭戰,內有懼怕。
[NASB] For even when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side: conflicts without, fears within.
7:6 但那安慰喪氣之人的神藉著提多來安慰了我們;
[NASB] But God, who comforts the depressed, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7:7 不但藉著他來,也藉著他從你們所得的安慰,安慰了我們;因他把你們的想念、哀慟,和向我的熱心,都告訴了我,叫我更加歡喜。
[NASB] and not only by his coming, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, as he reported to us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced even more.
7:8 我先前寫信叫你們憂愁,我後來雖然懊悔,如今卻不懊悔;因我知道,那信叫你們憂愁不過是暫時的。
[NASB] For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it--{for} I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while--
7:9 如今我歡喜,不是因你們憂愁,是因你們從憂愁中生出懊悔來。你們依著神的意思憂愁,凡事就不至於因我們受虧損了。
[NASB] I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to {the point of} repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to {the will of} God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us.
7:10 因為依著神的意思憂愁,就生出沒有後悔的懊悔來。以致得救;但世俗的憂愁是叫人死。
[NASB] For the sorrow that is according to {the will} {of} God produces a repentance without regret, {leading} to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
7:11 你看,你們依著神的意思憂愁,從此就生出何等的殷勤、自訴、自恨、恐懼、想念、熱心、責罰(或作:自責)。在這一切事上,你們都表明自己是潔淨的。
[NASB] For behold what earnestness this very thing, this godly sorrow, has produced in you: what vindication of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what avenging of wrong! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be innocent in the matter.
7:12 我雖然從前寫信給你們,卻不是為那虧負人的,也不是為那受人虧負的,乃要在神面前把你們顧念我們的熱心表明出來。
[NASB] So although I wrote to you, {it was} not for the sake of the offender nor for the sake of the one offended, but that your earnestness on our behalf might be made known to you in the sight of God.
7:13 故此,我們得了安慰。並且在安慰之中,因你們眾人使提多心裏暢快歡喜,我們就更加歡喜了。
[NASB] For this reason we have been comforted. And besides our comfort, we rejoiced even much more for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
7:14 我若對提多誇獎了你們甚麼,也覺得沒有慚愧;因我對提多誇獎你們的話成了真的,正如我對你們所說的話也都是真的。
[NASB] For if in anything I have boasted to him about you, I was not put to shame; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, so also our boasting before Titus proved to be {the} truth.
7:15 並且提多想起你們眾人的順服,是怎樣恐懼戰兢地接待他,他愛你們的心腸就越發熱了。
[NASB] His affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.
7:16 我如今歡喜,能在凡事上為你們放心。
[NASB] I rejoice that in everything I have confidence in you.

6:1 我們與神同工的,也勸你們不可徒受他的恩典。
[NASB] And working together {with Him,} we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain--
6:2 因為他說:『在悅納的時候,我應允了你;在拯救的子,我搭救了你。』看哪!現在正是悅納的時候;現在正是拯救的日子。
[NASB] for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION"--
6:3 我們凡事都不叫人有妨礙,免得這職分被人毀謗;
[NASB] giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited,
6:4 反倒在各樣的事上表明自己是神的用人,就如在許多的忍耐、患難、窮乏、困苦、
[NASB] but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,
6:5 鞭打、監禁、擾亂、勤勞、警醒、不食、
[NASB] in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger,
6:6 廉潔、知識、恆忍、恩慈、聖靈的感化、無偽的愛心、
[NASB] in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love,
6:7 真實的道理、神的大能;仁義的兵器在左在右;
[NASB] in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left,
6:8 榮耀、羞辱,惡名、美名;似乎是誘惑人的,卻是誠實的;
[NASB] by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; {regarded} as deceivers and yet true;
6:9 似乎不為人所知,卻是人所共知的;似乎要死,卻是活著的;似乎受責罰,卻是不至喪命的;
[NASB] as unknown yet well-known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death,
6:10 似乎憂愁,卻是常常快樂的;似乎貧窮,卻是叫許多人富足的;似乎一無所有,卻是樣樣都有的。
[NASB] as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things.
6:11 哥林多人哪,我們向你們,口是張開的,心是寬宏的。
[NASB] Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide.
6:12 你們狹窄,原不在乎我們,是在乎自己的心腸狹窄。
[NASB] You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections.
6:13 你們也要照樣用寬宏的心報答我。我這話正像對自己的孩子說的。
[NASB] Now in a like exchange--I speak as to children--open wide {to us} also.
不可與惡相交
6:14 你們和不信的原不相配,不要同負一軛。義和不義有甚麼相交呢?光明和黑暗有甚麼相通呢?
[NASB] Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
6:15 基督和彼列(彼列就是撒但的別名)有甚麼相和呢?信主的和不信主的有甚麼相干呢?
[NASB] Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
6:16 神的殿和偶像有甚麼相同呢?因為我們是永生神的殿,就如神曾說:我要在他們中間居住,在他們中間來往;我要作他們的神;他們要作我的子民。
[NASB] Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
6:17 又說:你們務要從他們中間出來,與他們分別;不要沾不潔淨的物,我就收納你們。
[NASB] "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
6:18 我要作你們的父;你們要作我的兒女。這是全能的主說的。
[NASB] "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty.

行事為人憑信心不憑眼見
5:1 我們原知道,我們這地上的帳棚若柝毀了,必得神所造,不是人手所造,在天上永存的房屋。
[NASB] For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
5:2 我們在這帳棚裏歎息,深想得那從天上來的房屋,好像穿上衣服;
[NASB] For indeed in this {house} we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,
5:3 倘若穿上,被遇見的時候就不至於赤身了。
[NASB] inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.
5:4 我們在這帳棚裏歎息勞苦,並非願意脫下這個,乃是願意穿上那個,好叫這必死的被生命吞滅了。
[NASB] For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life.
5:5 為此,培植我們的就是神,他又賜給我們聖靈作憑據(原文是質)。
[NASB] Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
5:6 所以,我們時常坦然無懼,並且曉得我們住在身內,便與主相離。
[NASB] Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord--
5:7 因我們行事為人是憑著信心,不是憑著眼見。
[NASB] for we walk by faith, not by sight--
5:8 我們坦然無懼,是更願意離開身體與主同住。
[NASB] we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
5:9 所以,無論是住在身內,離開身外,我們立了志向,要得主的喜悅。
[NASB] Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
5:10 因為我們眾人必要在基督臺前顯露出來,叫各人按著本身所行的,或善或惡受報。
[NASB] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
勸人與 神和好
5:11 我們既知道主是可畏的,所以勸人。但我們在神面前是顯明的,盼望在你們的良心裏也是顯明的。
[NASB] Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.
5:12 我們不是向你們再舉薦自己,乃是叫你們因我們有可誇之處,好對那憑外貌不憑內心誇口的人,有言可答。
[NASB] We are not again commending ourselves to you but {are} giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you will have {an answer} for those who take pride in appearance and not in heart.
5:13 我們若果顛狂,是為神;若果謹守,是為你們。
[NASB] For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.
5:14 原來基督的愛激勵我們;因我們想,一人既替眾人死,眾人就都死了;
[NASB] For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;
5:15 並且他替眾人死,是叫那些活著的人不再為自己活,乃為替他們死而復活的主活。
[NASB] and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
5:16 所以,我們從今以後,不憑著外貌(原文是肉體;本節同)認人了。雖然憑著外貌認過基督,如今卻不再這樣認他了。
[NASB] Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know {Him} {in this way} no longer.
5:17 若有人在基督裏,他就是新造的人,舊事已過,都變成新的了。
[NASB] Therefore if anyone is in Christ, {he is} a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
5:18 一切都是出於神;他藉著基督使我們與他和好,又將勸人與他和好的職分賜給我們。
[NASB] Now all {these} things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
5:19 這就是神在基督裏,叫世人與自己和好,不將他們的過犯歸到他們身上,並且將這和好的道理託付了我們。
[NASB] namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
5:20 所以,我們作基督的使者,就好像神藉我們勸你們一般。我們替基督求你們與神和好。
[NASB] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
5:21 神使那無罪(無罪:原文是不知罪)的,替我們成為罪,好叫我們在他裏面成為神的義。
[NASB] He made Him who knew no sin {to be} sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
