Unit 2: Jason Wipes1 His Nose
Jason has a runny2 nose. He reaches for3 a box of tissue4 on the table so that he can wipe it. His mother told him that he should use tissue and not the sleeve5 of his shirt because that is very disgusting.6 A single7 tissue is all he needs and he plucks8 one out of the box.
First he wipes his nose, but it still feels plugged9 so he covers10 his nose with the tissue and blows.11 It sounds like he is playing the trumpet.12 After doing this a couple of13 times, his nose is cleared14 and he can breathe15 much better.
Jason is a slob. 16 He leaves17 the germ-laden, 18 dirty tissue on the table. This is not the most hygienic19 of practices20 as someone else could catch his cold by touching it, but Jason is lazy and doesn’t care. His mother is always picking up after him. Will he ever learn?
