The California State Assembly just voted 56 – 7 to pass Senate Bill 27, the campaign disclosure bill that directly addresses the Arizona dark money scandal .
SB 27 (Correa) will close the nonprofit reporting loophole and will ensure that future campaigns receiving millions from out-of-state special interest nonprofits will have to disclose the sources.
Now it’s up to the Senate to prove they’re serious about shedding light on dark money!
Thank you for your continued commitment to improving campaign disclosure. Together we vow to restore our democracy and uphold the core values of transparency, honesty, and accountability.
Thanks for all that you do,
