Invitation

E-Learn 2011 - World Conference on E-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, & Higher Education is an international conference organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and co-sponsored by the International Journal on E-Learning.

This annual conference serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the exchange of information on research, development, and applications of all topics related to e-Learning in the Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education sectors.

We invite you to attend E-Learn 2010 and submit proposals for papers, panels, best practices, roundtables, tutorials, workshops, posters/demonstrations, and corporate showcases/demos. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer- reviewed by three reviewers for inclusion in the conference program, and Proceedings.

Topics

The scope of the conference includes, but is not limited to, the following topics as they relate to e-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education. All topics listed here.

Presentation Categories

The Technical Program includes a wide range of interesting and useful activities designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. These include keynote and invited talks, full and brief paper presentations, poster/demonstration sessions, tutorials, workshops, panels, and best practice sessions. For Presentation Category descriptions, and information about what to submit with your proposal, click here.

Products/Services Showcases

Opportunities are available to showcase and market your products and services via the Product/Services Showcases and Product/Services. For information about these presentations, click here.

Proceedings

Accepted papers will be published in the conference Proceedings. These publications will serve as major sources of information for the e-Learning community, indicating the current state of the art, new trends and new opportunities.

Paper Awards

All presented papers will be considered by the Program Committee for Outstanding Paper Awards. There will also be an award for Outstanding Student Paper (therefore, please indicate with your submission if the primary author is a full-time student).

Award winning papers will be highlighted in the AACE online periodical the AACE Journal. See previous award papers featured in the online Education & Information Technology Library.

Background

The E-Learn Conference series originated as the WebNet World Conference on the WWW and Internet which was held in:

  • San Francisco, CA (1996)
  • Toronto, Ontario, Canada (1997)
  • Orlando, Florida (1998)
  • Honolulu, HI (1999)
  • San Antonio, TX (2000)
  • Orlando, Florida (2001)

The conference was renamed to E-Learn and has been held in:

  • Montreal, Canada (2002)
  • Phoenix, AZ (2003)
  • Washington, DC (2004)
  • Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (2005)
  • Honolulu, Hawaii (2006)
  • Quebec City, Quebec, Canada (2007)
  • Las Vegas, NV (2008)
  • Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (2009)
  • Orlando, FL (2010)

E-Learn 2011 is the 16th in this series of internationally respected events.
