漢翔又獲美商霍尼維爾(Honeywell)公司代工製造渦輪發動機零件訂單

漢翔公司於2月19日新加坡航展的首日就有所斬獲，由於該公司發動機事業處在品質及交期上的優良表現獲得美商霍尼維爾(Honeywell)公司的肯定，已再獲美商霍尼維爾(Honeywell)公司總值達新台幣13.5億元，五年代工製造渦輪發動機零件合約。本五年代工製造渦輪發動機零件合約將由漢翔公司馮董事長與美商霍尼維爾(Honeywell)公司航太部門亞太區域總裁馬克‧豪斯(Mr. Mark Howes)共同簽署。

源自70年代，漢翔公司與美商霍尼維爾(Honeywell)公司即開始合作關係。漢翔公司取得美商霍尼維爾(Honeywell)公司授權在台生產T53與TFE731發動機，80年代並延伸共組國際渦輪發動機公司(International Turbine Engine Company,ITEC)合作發展與生產TFE1042發動機，90年代雙方並共同合作進行HTF7000渦輪扇發動機風險分攤計畫。

漢翔公司發動機事業處在全體員工戮力以赴下充份的合作，不斷的創新及改善，致力研發和努力生產，已陸續獲得國外引擎大廠青睞，力邀參與風險利潤分攤的合作案。

AIDC signs sourcing contract with Honeywell

On Feb. 19, the first day of Singapore Air Show, Aerospace Industry Development Corp. ( AIDC ) of Taiwan signed a long-term sourcing contract with Honeywell Aerospace worths about $ 42 M. AIDC is represented by its Chairman, Mr. Kent Feng, and Honeywell Aerospace by its Asia-Pacific President, Mr. Mark Howes. The two companies have a long history of co-operation starting from the license production of T53 and TFE731 engines in 1970''s, then expanded to TFE1042 engine joint development and JV company called International Turbine Engine Company ( ITEC ) in the 1980''s, later the co-op relationship continued in the revenue sharing program of HTF 7000 business jet engine in the 1990''s.

AIDC has built up extensive engine component manufacuring shops in its aero-engine factory with many world-class centers of excellence during this period and many international engine OEM''s have taken advantage of these capabilities. The agreement to extend the long-term sourcing contract between AIDC and Honeywell Aerospace testifies to the continuing improvements that AIDC has made in its attractive value offering to its partner.

AIDC is a government own aerospace system integrator located in TaiChung, Taiwan. It has produced many aircrafts including the indigenous defense fighter, IDF, that uses ITEC''s TFE1042 engine.

Honeywell is a publically listed company in U.S. with extensive aerospace product and service offers. It has supported many international aerospace OEM''s in various aircraft subsystem co-development and co-production.

AIDC Bring The First Visit of Taiwan’s Fighter Goshawk To Singapore Air Show

AIDC is one of a few aerospace companies that is qualified to undertake total aircraft development.
