登機證上有幾項基本資訊，一是乘客（passenger）大名，二是要搭乘的班機號碼（flight number），三是目的地（destination）。最重要的一定要知道登機門 （gate） 號碼和起飛時間（departure time），大部份的登機證都會印出登機時間（boarding time），最後再看一下座位號碼（seat number），這樣上機時才知道要坐哪裡！
