名詞子句作主詞時,等於單數名詞,之後均使用單數動詞.

名詞子句共有3種:

(1)一般平述句, 以that 引導的名詞子句

He is nice.

--> that he is nice

He doesn't study.

--> that he doesn't study

(2)以yes/no 回答的一般問句,whether 引導的名詞子句

Will he come or not?

-->whether he will come or not 

Will he do it or not?

--> whether he will do it or not

(3)以疑問詞(where, who,what,when,...等) 引導的名詞子句

Where does he come from?

-->where he come from

How will he do it?

--->how he will do it

例:

That he doesn't study makes his father angry.

Whether they will come or not is unknown.

When he will come remains to be seen.

Whether this book should be published in hardback or paperback _____ on next week's businss meeting agendar.
