所有格代名詞 (Possessive Pronouns)
所有格代名詞是用來代替人稱代名詞的所有格及其所修飾的名詞。
Your car is new, but mine is old.
你的車是新的,但我的是老舊的。
下面表格同時列出人稱代名詞與所有格代名詞。最右邊一欄是所有格代名詞。

所有格代名詞在數(mine 單數, ours 複數)、性(his 陽性, hers 陰性)、身(mine, yours, his, hers)方面要與先行詞一致。
My flowers are dying. Hers are lovely.
我的花正在凋謝。她的花很可愛。
Jerry found his backpack, but Sarah couldn't find hers.
Jerry 找到他的背包,但 Sarah 找不到她的。
從上面兩個例子,我們觀察到:
人稱代名詞的所有格(my, our, her)後面一定要有名詞,所有格代名詞(mine, ours, hers)後面則不能再有名詞。
