形容詞子句與插入語的關係
a.插入語的形成方式: 主詞 + 表認知的動詞,如:
I believe
I think
I feel
I know
I consider
I find
b.形容詞子句置入插入語的方法:
1)先造一個含有限定修飾的形容詞子句的句子:
例: He is a man who never breaks his word.
例: He is a man whom I met yesterday.
2)在將插入與置於關係代名詞之後:
例:He is a man who I think never breaks his word.
本例中,who 原本就做形容詞子句的主詞,並未因添加插入語 "I think"而變成whom.
例:He is a man whom I believe I met yesterday.
本例中,whom 原本就做形容詞子句中及物動詞meet的受詞.
c.think;believe;feel;consider;find等動詞可作完全及物或不完全及物動詞.
例:I think that he is nice. 此句中 think 為完全及物動詞
=I think him to be nice. 此句中 think 為不完全及物動詞
1)He is a man who I think is nice.
2)He is a man whom I think to be nice
