Expectation is expecting things to happen and almost predicting that they will. It is more of an assumption of the inevitable.

Expectation是指期望某件事情會發生..而且幾乎預知它必然會發生..

Expectancy on the other hand is being open to potential. One can’t assume that a particular outcome will occur, but rather is aware that there is the potential for something to happen.

Expectancy相反的則具有較大的可能性..無法確知它會發生...但意識到其發生之可能性.
