不對稱作戰
在軍事事務和國家安全範疇中，不對稱作戰概念需時時以迥異於敵人的運用手段、 組成和思考，增強自己的優勢、利用敵人的弱點，以獲致先製或較大的行動自由。
不對稱作戰是一種軍事術語，指軍力弱者對上強者的戰爭中如何取勝或達成戰鬥目標的學問。 1997年美國國防部《四年防務審查報告》中提到的“美國在常規的武器競爭中的優勢促使對手使用諸如不對稱的方式來攻擊美國”首次公開在官方文件使用不對稱作戰概念。
通常不對稱型態包含以下的一種至數種：
作戰力量的不對稱 - 一方軍力數量和素質的強弱明顯佔優。
作戰時間的不對稱 - 一方有較大快速結束戰爭的壓力。
作戰空間的不對稱 - 一方有較多軍隊活動空間。
技術水平的不對稱 - 一方科技武器能力、偵察能力較強。
作戰手段的不對稱 - 一方較需顧及戰爭手段。
戰術戰法的不對稱 - 一方能使用某些戰術而對方則無法獲勝。
Asymmetric combat
In the field of military affairs and national security, the notion of asymmetric warfare needs to be composed and refracted from time to time in ways that are different from those used by the enemy, enhancing one's own superiority and exploiting the weaknesses of the enemy in order to achieve preemption or greater freedom of movement.
Asymmetric warfare is a military term referring to the learning by military weaknesses of how to win or achieve combat goals in the war on the superior. The 1997 U.S. Department of Defense "four-year defense review report" mentioned that "the U.S. superiority in conventional arms competition has prompted opponents to use asymmetric methods such as asymmetric attacks on the United States" for the first time in the official document using the concept of asymmetric warfare.
Generally asymmetric patterns include one or more of the following:
Asymmetric combat forces - the strength and weakness of the number and quality of military forces on the one hand clearly dominate.
Asymmetric warfighting time - One side has the pressure to end the war more rapidly and quickly.
Asymmetric combat space - there is more room for military activity on one side.
Asymmetric technology - one of the ability of scientific and technological weapons, reconnaissance capability.
Asymmetric means of warfare - one side should take into account the means of war.
Asymmetric Tactics - One can use some tactics while the other can not win.
