1. Treasure Island
a. Introduce the characters, the plots, and the scenes.
(1) The character: A person portrayed in a drama or novel.
(2) The plot: The pattern of events or main story in a narrative or drama.
(3) The scene: A part of a story, play, movie, etc. that shows what is happening in one particular place and time. The setting of an action.
b. Discuss the characters, the plots and the scenes in each chapter. Discuss the conflicts among the pirates.
c. Share the thoughts of reading "Treasure Island." Choose one favorate character and explain the reason why the character wins the heart.
2. Romeo & Juliet
a. Introduce the charaters and chapter one.
b. Students are required to finish reading Romeo & Juliet at home.
3. Poetry
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay.
