I know the international reality and framwork better than you do. I am not one of the blinds touching just a part of an elephant as YST.
14 months ago, DDP's 外交部長陳唐山 released his "serious" concern over the Vatican diplomatic relationship. He sounds like Vatican would be the immediate next sovereign to cut tie with Taiwan. I immediately posted an article to express my objection by saying "Vatican will be the last one to sever diplomatic relationship with ROC in the world," not the first one in line.引用文章小丑不自重﹐當然斷交啦﹗ Now how serious is it? I am right or 陳唐山 is right?
there is not going to have a "war" broke out between ROC and Red China in the future. No chance at all unless there is someone stupid and crazy as YST, a Y-type Taiwanese parasite. Peiod.
Please take a note that I used "in the future," not a more conservative term "in the near future." Why? The chance is getting even more slim later than the year 2007. Now you know why YST keeps bluffing for some reason behind the scence.

You did catch the vital points that why I dare to say there is not going to have a full-scale war (in traditional meaning) between ROC and Red China.
At the present situation, I doubt Red China would trigger a war against Taiwan even if Taiwan announced her independence. But I am not 100% sure about it yet (so, to play safe, I make it as a possible exception to my NO WAR warranty), based on my understandings on psychological effects of "soft science" (referred to "human science" as opposed to "Solid Science").
However, there would be absolutely no gain for Taiwan as a whole (only backfires to make Taiwan even more isolated) from the international community if ROC was changed into ROT .
p.s. Let me remind you that my extreme "conclusion" is not based on what YST's theory of the growing military powers. I admited that Red China is able to millitarily attack ROC and I firmly believe that USA is NOT going to send her military forces to involved it and defend Taiwan.
Then, what are my bases to make such an incredible (or "crazy") statement? Think it over! You have your good and functional brain.
