No wonder you looked a bit surprised on that day. ^ ^
As for Emma's schedule, don't worry about it.
I will be in the studio tomorrow afternoon anyway.
If Emma can't attend both of the school fair and the reading club at the same time,
you and Emma are still welcome to come to the studio at 3:30pm.

u know what...
I just found out the schedule of the reading club C
is from 9am to 10:30am
I thought it was from 9:30 to 11am.
No wonder everyone was ready and sat well when we got in..
we were late!??  I thought we were on time...
sorry!
(what kind of mother I am... ><)
now I know!
 
Thank you for being so understanding...
and also the offer of the friday's class...
but I don't want to bother you that much...
don't do the class just for Emma...
I'm gonna feel bad about it...
I'll ask her teacher about the school fair...
ask the details
to see if we can do both for Emma on Saturday...
I'll try my best...

Dear Claire,
 
Thank you for informing me Emma's school fair.
Encouraging children to attend activities is very important.
They are able to have more social experiences through joining the activities, which has a lot to do with literature learning as well.
I always support the idea of holding activities for children.
That is the reason why the studio offers summer and winter camps.
 
I am sorry that Emma will not be able to join the group discussion on 27.
On the other hand, I respect the activities that children's daytime schools hold for them; therefore, please tell Emma not to worry about her reading club.
She will be fine as long as she forms the habit of reading! 
 
There is no make-up class offered by the studio since literature learning is a long-term program and depends on their reading habit. However, if Emma is available at 3:30pm~5:00pm on 26(this Friday), I might be able to offer her the class.
Please let me know if the time is ok for you and Emma.

I have a question about this coming Saturday class...
The thing is about Emma's School (敦化國小)
She has to go to school fair this saturday...
and they gonna have one school day off instead  (4/6)
 
she really likes ur reading class..
but she doesn't want to miss her first school fair either..
so...I wonder if she can make it up for the reading club C
or if there is any rule about missing a class...
just feel free to let me know...

Thank you for your reply. I will see you and the girls tomorrow afternoon.
Parents are encouraged to stay with the children. However, it is not a must to stay in the club with Polly and Melody. You are welcome to stay with them if you are interested in their learning.
 
The total payment for March will be NT 1,424.
(NT 1,200-->Polly & Melody's tuition on March 20 ; NT 224 for two picture books. You don't have to pay for the first class on March 13 because the first class is sponsored by the studio.)
 
See you and the girls at 3:30pm tomorrow.

Dear camilla:
不好意思！下週六（3/27），Polly和 Melody因為學校上午有園遊會的活動，可能沒辦法上課，要跟老師請假一次或是可以有其他補課的機會。造成不便，請見諒！
Polly和 Melody很喜歡老師的課，只是個性比較害羞，要麻煩老師多多鼓勵！
三月份的學費和書本費，請老師告知，下次上課會請小朋友帶去。
還有一個小問題，因為不太知道工作室上課運作方式，上次看到很多家長都陪著上課，不知道是不是一定要有家長在場？（PS：個人比較信任老師，希望讓孩子知道上課是師生之間的事，所以除非老師有親子活動的安排，不然會盡量不要出現）如果有要家長出現的期望，也請直接告知。謝謝！

I would like to inform you that we are not available to attend the
3/13 reading club this Saturday, because we are having a trip to Taichung
this weekend. But we will attend the Friday drama club on time !!
 
Regarding Ronnie (my sister's son), he is not available to join our
reading club this year, they have an English tutor during the
winter vacation. My sister Vicky loves the way you guide kids to read,

Happy New Year and Lanttern Festival!
I appreciate your support. It is my hornor to have a chance to spend time with Kevin and Catherine as well.
Through sharing things in the camp, I have a chance to stay close to the children and to know them better.
What we learn from class is knowledge; what we learn from life is wisdom. Literature has so much to do with our daily lives; therefore, learning through living has always been part of my teaching goals.
I felt so much love when they shared what they thought to me and I was touched to see how eager they were when they gave each other opinions or shared secrets. Friendship is no longer a vocabulary to them. It is their excitement to realize that they could actually put what they have learned in class into pratice, which strengthens their learning motives.
I am sure that the precious and pleasant memories have enriched our lives!
