Quite a few majors offered in the National Taiwan University have no job market. That is to say, it is hard to find decent jobs for the graduates armed with those degrees.
A male student in particular needs to be discreet in choosing a college major for his career unless he has discovered a genuine interest, or has developed a passion, or fall in crazy love with some certain subject.
In light of this, I am more interested in knowing the percentage of receiving the admissions to Department of Medical Science (including both public and private colleges, excluding dentistry, pharmacy, etc.)
The medical field is highly competitive simply because it guarantees lifetime meal-ticket and a little bit respect.
