我們全都只能是業餘愛好者

但這愛好兩字, 已經幫新世界張開第一眼了

市長太抬愛了，真令人萬分惶恐，關於PROUST，還有太多相關的專業知識等著自己去汲取，19世紀末及20世紀初的巴黎；巴爾札克、波特萊爾、紀德、卡繆等前後時代的作家，甚至是他書中提過的美食及文學和藝術作品，窮其自己ㄧ生，也無法探其究竟吧...

我還是願意稱自己是個 amateur，熱愛PROUST及其所有相關
