Art is subjective; it’s a matter of personal opinion and there is no right or wrong. YST’s comment was surprisingly close to my own from first impression of the painting.

The 1^st clue is the portrait on top left, it is reasonable to imagine one will have portrait of family member or ancestor on one’s wall. But whom do the girls on the mahjong table really represent when 2 appear to be oriental and 2 Caucasian?
